I started to define a schema for node- and edgetypes in OWL using Protege as the editor. For a start it just contains six edge types and nodes distinguished as persons and institutions. I added attributes “type” to the network and added repective URIs. In Cytoscape this can be used to control the visualization a bit, so financial transactions now are dashed lines. While all this is far from perfect or final, it can serve as a proof of concept. The schema is on the ontologies page.
